FAQs
Chiropractic adjustments are believed to have several benefits for overall health:
- Pain relief: They can alleviate back pain, neck pain, and headaches, among other musculoskeletal issues.
- Improved mobility: By restoring joint function, adjustments can enhance flexibility and range of motion.
- Enhanced nervous system function: The spine houses the nervous system, and adjustments may optimize nerve function.
- General well-being: Many patients report feeling more energized and balanced after adjustments.
The spine's alignment can impact nerve function. Misalignments or restrictions (subluxations) may interfere with nerve signals. Adjustments aim to correct these issues, potentially enhancing nervous system communication throughout the body.
The number of sessions varies depending on the individual's condition, overall health, and treatment goals. Some people experience relief after just a few sessions, while others may benefit from ongoing maintenance care.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you would typically workout in. This will allow for movement and possible manual therapy.
Shorts - Lower body: It is best to have shorts available if you are coming in with something involving the lower body.
Top - Shoulder/Neck Region: We encourage women to wear a top that exposes the shoulder blade area if you are coming in with something involving the shoulder or neck.
Absolutely!
Insurance reimbursement currently forces most companies to co-treat multiple patients at once & denies many performance based treatments that we deliver at Grit Strength and Spine. We refuse to allow insurance to dictate your level of care. You deserve better!
A Super-Bill can easily be provided! This will allow you to easily submit proof of your appointment to your insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement.
At Grit Strength And Spine, we like to be completely transparent about what you are getting and having to pay, rather than getting a random bill a month later from your insurance company.
This will be dependent on the insurance you have, but YES, most non-medicare patients can send "self claims" to their insurance company that shows what specific treatments and therapies we provided at the clinic. You should be able to print claim-forms from your insurance companies website, and send it in with the needed reciepts and treatment codes that will be provided upon request.
The amount of reimbursement or application towards your deductable is completely dependent on your insurance plan. If you would like to inquire about what reimbursement you are likely to expect, give your insurance company a call and ask about reimbursement for "out-of-network Chiropractic" expenses sent in via self-claims.
